2014 has been a key year for us in many ways. The launch of the Mach6C gave us a springboard into mainstream cycling and it won many accolades, most particularly the MTBR award for the "Most Versatile Bike" and the Interbike award for the "Peoples Upgrade Choice - mountain". prizes such as this rocketed the Mach6C into the mainstream and set the stage for it to become one of the most popular, high-end, enduro race bikes. We also want to thank Katy Winton for her incredible race results and the level to which she went as one of our athletes. Consistently finishing in the top 10 in the EWS she took the series by storm aboard her Mach6C throwing both her and her bike into the limelight.

It wasn't only in enduro racing however that Pivot athletes and bikes shone. Bernard Kerr, Micayla Gatto and Eliot Jackson headed up the Pivot Factory Downhill Team. Throughout the season they achieved consistent success at the highest level of sport as Bernard took the additional challenge of managing the team as well as racing for it. The method paid off hugely as all three team members reported hugely successful results. They were debuting on the Pivot Phoenix Carbon and flew down the tracks. Bernard, along with Jeff Herbertson, rode Rampage on the Phoenix downhill bike. Both riders did incredibly well with Bernard being narrowly knocked out before qualifying despite a stunning and death-defying run. Jeff on the other had rode unbelievably well and manged to place 7th in the main event. Jeff's full run can be watched here from his GoPro, catching the action first hand.
